The singer and guitarist David Singary is set to reprise his role as the dashing dashing guitarist and bassist of the rock band the Byrds in the upcoming Singers Mini.
The singer-songwriter will portray the band in the film, which is being directed by John Fusco, whose previous credits include the upcoming musical The Night Manager and the live-action film The World of Hurt.
Singers was first announced in December, with the film set to open in theatres in November.
It follows the story of two musicians in their late 20s who go on a journey to the West Indies to find their former bandmates.
Singery, who has appeared in such movies as The Matrix Reloaded and The Day the Earth Stood Still, will play the role of the band’s lead guitarist, with his first appearance in the music video for “I’m In Love” being filmed in February.
Singeries role will be that of a mentor to his former bandmate.
The director of the film said he was keen to cast the young singer to play a mentor role, because he is an incredible actor and I was so excited about this role.
“I have a love for music and I really want to work with David, who is the kind of young actor I want to develop,” said Fuscolo.
“He has this amazing ability to bring a different element to the film and he can bring that into a role that is very human.”
Fusino said he wanted to make the film as a family drama.
“David’s music is one of the things that really connects us and has helped me to be a better filmmaker,” he said.
“We’ve seen that on the road and in the world. “
I think David’s music will give us something that really captures the essence of the Byrd band.” “

Fosco said he had worked with Singery before, but was excited to be bringing the singer into the film.
“A lot of people are going to love it.
It is going to be very, very exciting,” he told Radio Times.
“And he is very much a rock star, which I think is something that we are really excited about.”
Singery’s role will bring him into the spotlight of the world of music.
The new film will feature music by the likes of Radiohead, the Velvet Underground, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin.
The film will be shot in the West Midlands and the film is set for release in the spring of 2019.
Singies latest film, The World Of Hurt, which won the Best Soundtrack at the Venice Film Festival in 2014, was directed by Michael Moore.
Singaries film is based on the book The World Without Us, which was published in 2008.
The book follows the lives of three young men on the island of La Perouse in the French Caribbean as they discover their own identity and form a band to fight for justice and the freedom of their island.
